"The future doesn't stand still, and in this day and age, a bit of hope can go a long way toward making the future a place we all want to be. Hope is powerful, and we could all use that right now."

Stu Shepherd Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Print "First Flight"

The Wright Flyer at Kittyhawk, December 17, 1903

The Wright Brothers accomplished the first ever heavier-than-air manned flight when their spindley creation, dubbed the "Wright Flyer", took to the sky in the breezes along the coast at Kittyhawk, North Carolina, December 17th, 1903. With Orville Wright at the controls and his brother Wilbur cheering as he ran alongside, the Wright Flyer lifted off and flew the modest distance of 120 feet in 12 seconds. Two other flights the same day proved that the airplane was not a fluke. Aviation as we know it was born.

This is a Digital Print with the sharpest image and brightest colors available!

Image size 12" x 16", Overall size 13" x 19"

Offered are limited edition prints from a 200-print run created and signed by the artist. The image is in brilliant color on highest quality glossy photographic paper (Ilford Printasia) which produces the sharpest and brightest image possible, with guaranteed print life equivalent to litho prints.

All Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered (S/N) by the artist. Limited Edition prints are restricted to a certain number. For example, if 400 prints are made from an original painting, once they’re gone, that’s it. There is no limit to the number of open edition prints of a particular painting. That’s why Limited Edition prints are more expensive — and more valuable to collectors — than "open" edition. Rare objects are more valuable.

All Limited Edition artwork is subject to availability at time of order. Although seller strives to remain currrent as to inventory, seller reserves the right to cancel a sale if item is no longer available at time of purchase.

No copyrights will appear on purchased print.
