NORBERT LISINSKI

Norbert Lisinski graduated from the graphic design program at George Brown College in Toronto. From an early age he has enjoyed an enthusiasm for aircraft and history. "With aviation art I'm able to merge two interests at the same time" he says. This print is his initial foray into the aviation marketplace and he plans to produce more work in this genre.

"People often ask me why I enjoy producing aviation or automotive art. For me it's as simple as enjoying the process and evolution of the work. I am always striving to improve my work and there is much to learn from other artists. I'm hoping that people who view my artwork will appreciate the work in some way, be it the composition, subject matter, colour balance, theme or any other reason."

Norbert has participated in private and public showings of his work including, as a finalist, the AJAC Art of the Automobile competition at the Canadian International Auto Show and Artfest at the Toronto Grand Prix. Some of his work is displayed at the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame.

Norbert Lisinski Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Print "Lone Sentry"

This lone Hurricane is just returning from a long sortie, its pilot grateful to be over home soil. The church is symbolic of a guiding strength, that watched over the ‘Few’ during the Battle of Britain.

18" by 10-3/4" print, limited to 140, is signed by the artist and co-signed by WW II RAF Pilot David Cairns, Distinguished Flying Cross Recipient - $50

All Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered (S/N) by the artist. Limited Edition prints are restricted to a certain number. For example, if 400 prints are made from an original painting, once they’re gone, that’s it. There is no limit to the number of open edition prints of a particular painting. That’s why Limited Edition prints are more expensive — and more valuable to collectors — than "open" edition. Rare objects are more valuable.

An Artist’s Proof (AP), generally, is the first 5% - 10% of the Limited Edition prints that come off the press. This status is noted on the print. Collectors prefer APs because their value increases even more than a Limited Edition as time goes by.

All Limited Edition artwork is subject to availability at time of order. Although seller strives to remain currrent as to inventory, seller reserves the right to cancel a sale if item is no longer available at time of purchase.
